I just passed MCTS 70-562 exam with a score of 826.The passing score for microsoft exams is 700(they have not mentioned anything wrt the %age). Also, I had studied from the MCTS 70-562 self paced training kit... In the practice tests given, the passing score was 80%. So, if we were to assume that 700 is in fact 80% of the total score then it means that 100% is 875.But the irony is that I have read some blogs in which ppl have mentioned them getting scores ~ 900 or so. Wonder how that happened?

The truth about Microsoft Exam Scoring: 700 Does NOT Equal 70%.All MCP exam scores are scaled. This process converts the number of points that you earned on the exam—in most cases, this is equivalent to the number of questions that you answered correctly (this is called a “raw score”) to a common scale that in Microsoft’s case ranges from 0-1000.
