WILL MCSE 2003 EXPEIRE IN SONNER ? HOW LONG WILL MCSE 2003 BE VALID ?
I read in the Microsoft website that they will not expire the certifications as long as there are demands for that particular technology. Even if the Server 2008 will be fully implemented to most of the companies but if there are some companies who may wish to still prefer in Server 2003 then the MCSA/MCSE 2003 certification is still valid. Though, there are some exams that will be retiring but not the certificate (I'm referring to your MCSE 2003 Certificate that currently you are holding). You may opt also to get certify as MCITP: Server Admin/Enterprise Admin. However, please do take note also that as of the moment not all companies are implementing Windows Server 2008. Beside this, MS said that the MCSE series will be lifetime, for eg. the MCSE in Windows 2000, MCSE in Windows NT 4.0, a lot of companies still use this kind of OS Servers, so, don't worry!

- When will Microsoft make a Windows 7 exam ala 70-620 for Vista or 70-270 for XP?I am currently preparing to upgrade my MCSE for Windows Server 2003 to an MCITP: Enterprise Administrator for Windows Server 2008. Part of that upgrade path is taking the 70-620 exam for Vista. I am wondering if I should hold out for a Windows 7 exam to hopefully be future compatible toward whatever the certification will be for whatever server OS comes after 2008. Does anyone know when MS will release an exam for Windows 7 and if it will be usable towards the MCITP: Enterprise Administrator for 2008? Thanks.

- MCSE 2003 to 2008 I already have MCSE 2003, and would like to know what exam I would need to pass in order to become certified in Server 2008. The certification planner isnt very clear! Thanks!
- Does 70-621: upgrade MCDST to MCITP count as Elective for MCSE ? Here is the certifications I passed, and I can say the Design Exam (297) is the most difficult exam I ever passed (in my life). The first one I passed was the 70-215 6 years ago, but that was still on Windows 2000. Then I passed them in the following order: 271, 272, 621, 270, 290, 291, 293, 297. Now I believe I only need 294 (core) to become MCSE certified. But a teacher told me today that my 621 may not be elective, as it is not really a 620, but just an upgrade. That scares me, I am preparing the 294, and really hope it is the last exam I have to prepare to be finally MCDST, MCITP, MCSA, and MCSE. Can please someone confirm that ?? 297 Designing a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure 293 Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure 291 Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure 290 Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment 270 Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional 621 Upgrading your MCDST Certification to MCITP Enterprise Support 272 Supporting Users and Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on a Microsoft® Windows® XP Operating System 271 Supporting Users and Troubleshooting a Microsoft® Windows® XP Operating System 215 Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft® Windows® 2000 Server Thank you, and best regards.
- Does the MCSE 2003 Expire? Can someone point me in the direction of the document that shows certification renewal/expiration info? I'm assuming that the MCSE does expire, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm coming up on my 3 year anniversary as an MCSE and I want to make sure there is nothing that I should do. Thanks in advance!
