The MCSD seems like it has been abandoned.but based on the requirements, is unattainable since all the tests are no longer given. Does Msoft have any intention of making the MCSD available again any time soon?
Microsoft has retired some of the exams so if you haven’t passed those exams which are retired, you will not be able to get MCSD. Microsoft is slowly moving away from MCAD/MCSD and going toward MCTS and MCPD, so they don’t have intention to go back to this MCAD/MCSD. On the other hand, I am not sure if you looked at the MCTS and MCPD Exam for .NET. These exams and certification are much more career focused and useful.

- MCAD expiration I am trying to get MCAD certification. I have a question about new tests for this certification. If I passed 2 tests; for example, 70-315 and 70-229, but 70-305, 70-320, and 70-300 are expired in December 2008. Do I have to retake 70-315 and 229 tests or I only need to take equivalent new test of 70-305, 320 and 300. What should I do now? Thank you for your help.
