Microsoft Certifications » MCDST

do you think it is wise to do MCDST before taking a shot at , or is it realistically possible to jump streight into MCSA????

That depends on your experience. If you have never used Windows 2003 in an Active Directory environment I would say you are better off going for your MCDST. If you have been using 2003 for a while you could start with your MCSA. Thats not to say it couldn't be done, if you have never used 2003. But certifications are meant to showcase your experience in an area. You get certifications after you have been working with the product for a while. You don't do it the other way around.
