- Windows 7 has locked all my permissions, and I have no idea how to fix.
I've been to all the obvious places and the shield is in place, disabling access.
I've looked at the account and it's definately an administrator account.
i'm wondering if it went wrong when I tried to set up a homegroup
any suggestions how to take the security off - the Locked folder Access thread isn't relevant as the shield prevents me from changing any security settings.

(80 views) - How can I convince Windows 7 that I (as Administrator) should have permission? All I get is "access is denied". Is there any procedure to allow me, as the owner and only user of my computer, to use it?
(98 views) - I want to migrate a Forefront database to a SQL server that also hosts a SCOM Database.
The Forefront Collection database componants doesn’t install on the SQL server hosting the SCOM database. (Both in and out of the same instance)
Also after a couple of failures and retries the Reporting servers doesn’t work anymore.
do SCOM and Forefront Databases coexistence ?
(24 views) - Since the fix for forefront was released for the reoffering of client engine 1.0.1703.0 all of our XP machines are taking upto 3 minutes to login. Users can enter their password but then the login box sits there for 3 minutes before continuing. Once the machine has started all seems to work fine.
(27 views) - I want to implement SCOM 2007 to monitor Windows servers and the services and applications , use Forefront Client Security on all servers, which uses MOM 2005 for monitoring itself. From what I've read, there is not full integration between FCS and SCOM 2007. However, is it supported to run SCOM in addition to FCS with the default and stripped down version of MOM 2005?
(79 views) - a WSUS 3.0 server with forefront. everything was running perfect till we had to roll out a couple of new laptops. i have assigned 7 laptops to the correct OU which 4 laptops worked perfectly, detected and installed forefront with all the updates! the other 3 laptops shows up in WSUS and after a while is shows that everything is 100% all updates show installed/not applicable, when i run the report to see those updates it shows install in the action but next to it not applicable, and no Forefront client is installed! these laptops is all brand new installations!
(111 views) - I have 115 servers running Forefront Client Security. All of the servers run at their scheduled time correctly, but about 20 or so also start a scan at ever user login. I have the scheduled scan run at 11PM so it doesn't impact the environment, but when a user logs in during regular business hours it sucks the life out of the resources. Why is a scan running at user login?
(96 views) - whereby the Client Update is re-offered after the install of the KB971026. I have synched our WSUS server numerous times over the last few days, but the Client Update 1.0.1703.0 does not update, and all our clients are stuck in the loop.
I have had to hold the approval of this update for now (currently only applied to a test group of servers and machines) .
(66 views) - Is it possible to purchase FCS through volume license at any point during the 90-day evaluation period, enter the product keys to convert the product (management server, SQL Server) to a full working version and without client re-installation?
