- Does a Windows 2000 MCSE become a Windows 2003 MCSA after passing just 70- 292? Or do you have to do 70-296 too before you get both MCSE 2003 and MCSA 2003?

(267 views) - I have decided take work towards the MCSA to start my career path and I have recently just passed the 70-292.I have the a+, network+ and I am hoping to get the 70-270, 70-291 this coming year and then use the 70-292 in place of the 70-290 to complete the MCSA requirements.My instructor on the networking course told me that the exams are identical and that there is no difference but this begs the questions why then does the 70-292 exist! I have found out that this is a windows mcsa 2000 upgrade path but I have not done anything on windows 2000, so how then can I be in this position? The exam was scheduled by the course itself, so up until now I have assumed that I have fulfiled the the requirments but am concerned to think that this may not be true also how can I be able to sit an upgrade exam without actually having the pre requisite requirements such as the 2000 pro certification?

(27 views) - how to obtain MCSA certificates.And I have passed all exams of MCSA.One way is to put an order at MCP site. Other way is just to download PDFs, and take them to the local print center. Is there any VISIBLE difference between ordered one and printed one?

(100 views) - I want to get certifications for MCSA and MCDBA ,however MCITP: Enterprise Administrator,and MCITP Database Administrator were released and I'm wondering would it be better to get MCSA/DBA or the MCITP certifications ?If I take Exam 70-640, and Exam 70-642 would that count twards both the MCITP: Enterprise Administrator, and MCITP: Server Administrator or would I have to retake it if I wanted to get both?
(131 views) - I have passed the following exams:70-218 70-217 70-216 70-215 70-210 .Now that they have retired the upgrade exams for windows server 2000 to windows server 2003 .Should I skip all windows server 2003 exams and just start over with the 2008 tests, or is there a shorter route to certification on windows server 2008 if I take a couple of the 2003 tests?
(126 views) - I'm a MCDST interested in earning a MCSA 2003. I noticed on exam 70-621's page, MS states:
"Note Exam 70-621 can be used as credit for any certification requiring Exam 70-620: TS: Windows Vista, Configuring, as a required or elective exam. In other words, Exam 70-621 satisfies the Exam 70-620 requirement in all cases."
Exam 70-620 is a client operating system exam for the MCSA 2003. I know this question seems a bit redundant, but will 70-621 fulfill the client operating system exam for a MCSA 2003? I just want to confirm before I buy the materials and invest the time.
